Checkpoint Charlie

Hi there,

I was in Berlin in December and had a great time. During my visit to Checkpoint Charlie I noticed a guy stamping peoples passports for a fee.

Could someone explain what this was about and was it on peoples valid passports or old ones they have.

Does it affect your passport if you get these stamps on them.

As far as I know the guy is an %26quot;actor%26quot; and they do it just for the tourists.

The stamp certainly is not a valid one and I can%26#39;t tell you if it will affect your passort if you have got one.
