Travelling alone in Berlin

Hi all,

I am going to be visiting Berlin very soon from 27thDec-3rdJan and was wondering which Hostel would be the best hostel for the clubs/bars and where such like myself people travelling alone can meet.

Also will hostels be empty near New Years or quite the opposite?

Hi,

the Hostels should be pretty busy at New Years... Berlin is the place to be at NYE. There is a party at Brandenburg Gate with more than one million guests (for free)....beside of that most bars and clubs are jam-packed until next day.

What about Heart of Gold Hostel ...It seems to have good reviews...what do you think..good area? Easy to make friends beacuse i will be alone

Please I have looked at them all and can%26#39;t decide which is the best..

Im looking for a hostel which is in a good location for bars/clubs and is easy to meet new people asI will be alone...really the circus looked great but its fully booked now...

EastSeven is fully booked too...so I dont know what to do

Aurora seems like its a quiet not easy to make new friends place and that you have to be back by 12pm...

Also Heart of gold hostel looks good, but is that also a quiet not easy to make friends place??

Hmmm, .... I don%26#39;t know the Heart of Gold Hostel but the location is ok...have you checked the backpacker Hostels? They have 3 Hostels with more than 400 beds...

Ok, there are spaces in EastSeven, is this a socialable hostel? Will there be many people travelling alone there?

Don%26#39;t know what the hostel is like from own experience but you could check the reviews on tripadvisor, www.hostelworld.com or www.hostelz.com .

I%26#39;m pretty sure that you%26#39;ll meet quite a few people who are travelling alone ... whatever hostel you choose.
