February Snow?

Hi all!

Is there likely to be any snow in the Cologne/Bonn area in Feb? Still trying to decide where to go!

Snow in the Cologne/Bonn area ist generally unlikely.

One of the warmest corners in Germany and pretty low altitute. Maybe on the nearby uplands (e.g. Siegerland).

You can probably forget about snow but you might be interested in the Cologne Carnival, which starts on Feb. 15 and climaxes on Feb. 19, so-called Rosenmontag, with a huge parade. There%26#39;s lots of partying going on and the city takes on a slightly crazy atmosphere (although you might have to have lived there to really see it). It ain%26#39;t Rio or New Orleans, but it%26#39;s fun anyway. Something to think about.
