7 Seat/Minibus from Schoenefeld to Lindner Hotel Am Ku'damm

Hello

Does anyone know if it is possible to book a 7 seater minibus or somethind similar from the airport to The Lindner Hotel Am Ku%26#39;damm. There are 2 couples each with a small child.

I travel on Friday and cannot wait :-)

First time so any tips on Berlin and the Christmas markets with 2 young girls (2 and 3) greatly appreciated too

Thanks in advance

There are mini bus taxis. And probably other mini buses you can book.

However never used one in Berlin. Berlin has an excellent 24 hours local public transport system.

BVG timetable

From: SXF

To: U Kurfuerstendamm

U-Bahn station Kurfürstendamm is next to the hotel.

Single ticket adults is EUR 2,10. Children under 6 are free.

A mini group (3-5 persons) day ticket for Berlin is EUR 14,80.

Mini van taxi with 7 persons for 25 km is approx. EUR 36,00.

Estimated travel time 40 min.

Thank you very much to both of you. I have used the German transfer peple and got a very good deal for the transfer back to the airport.

I am awaiting an email back to see if they can pick me up tonight, but lack of notice may be a problem. If I don%26#39;t hear soon I will call them up and see.

Not long now, will be in Berlin in just over 12 hours...... thanks again.

You could check out www.btm.de for some tips for what to do with children in Berlin.

Hello

Just back from way too short visit.

Just wanted to say thanks again. We used German Transfer and they were briliant.

They were there waiting for us and picked us up from the Hotel at the exact time they said they would. Very efficient and great value at 31 euros.

Price was much less expensive than a lot of other companies that quoted me, for the same trip, in fact nearly half the price of another that I almost booked. The driver on the way back played traditional Christmas music (not Slade/Wham etc.) and even gave our daugter and her friend a chocolate bar when we got to the airport, which was a lovely touch.

Berlin was amazing and we will definately be going back soon. Great in everyway, especially the people who were extremely friendly and welcoming. Hotel Lintner is first class, and again great value for the deal we had.

Thanks again,

Steve
