Flying into Schoenfeld. Take it I%26#39;m best taking Express to Zoological Garden?
Is it walkable to hotel from station?

Taking the airport express to Zoo is the quickest option. Basically you could walk from there to your hotel. Anyway, as you%26#39;ve probably luggage with you I recommend jumping on a bus for a few stops. You could take the busses no. 109, X10 or 110 and get off at Adenauerplatz. The hotel is just across the road.

Anyone recommend any good restaurants/bars near this hotel?
Or alternatively around Friedrichst. area which i have been told is good for food/drink?

I don%26#39;t like going out in Mitte (where Friedrichstr. is) as I personally find a lot of the bars and restaurants too posh (don%26#39;t know another word for it but maybe you%26#39;ll know what I mean). I%26#39;ve also been dissapointed a few times when it came to the quality of food and service. In my opinion you can get better food/atmosphere etc. for less money in other areas of Berlin.
You%26#39;ll find many bars and restaurants in walking distance of your hotel. On Brandenburgische Str. directly around the corner of Adenauerplatz you%26#39;ll find a nice Thai restaurant, it%26#39;s nothing special but the food is nice. At Wilmersdorfer Str. 79 you%26#39;ll find Amys Malaysia. If you go further down the Ku%26#39;Damm (towards Halensee) you%26#39;ll find a nice Greek restaurant called Ach Niko on the left side at Kurfürstendamm 96. A bit further away but still in walking distance you%26#39;ll find
Masala, Friedbergstr. 38 http://www.restaurant-masala.de/index.htm
Engelbecken, Witzlebenstr. 31 http://www.engelbecken.de/
Goldrot, Kurfürstendamm 64/65 http://www.cristianorienzner.de/index.php
Other areas with nice bars and restaurants which you either can walk to or jump on public transport for a couple of stops are
Savignyplatz/Knesebeckstr./Grolmannstr./Bleibtreustr.
Winterfeldplatz/Goltzstr.

Thanks for your info. Great city and I will be back.
Tried the Greek restaurant you suggested which was very nice. Also used a nice Italian close by called Ciao Ciao.
