Can't find a hotel room for 3 near the city center between

150 and 225 Euros. (Between $200 and $300) I%26#39;ve done an inquiry on each of the rooms on the trip advisor. Does anyone have advice on a reasonably nice hotel within walking distance of Marienplatz, that will accomodate 3 persons?

My daughter and I stayed in a double room at the Tryp Hotel on Paul Heyser Strasse in October. The room could have easily taken another single bed so they might be able to give you a room for 3.

I think it would take at least 20 minutes to walk to Marienplatz but the Theresienweise U Bahn station is only 2 minutes walk and it is only a couple of stops from there to Marienplatz. The hotel is probably about 3 star standard and I think it would be in your price range. We were happy with our stay there and found the staff we met very helpful.

There is a new and nice Marriott on Schwanthaler Str. :

Usually this should not be a problem, except during the Octoberfest and some trade fairs. When do you want to stay in Munich.

Try www.hrs.de or www. hotel.de. Often Triple rooms aren%26#39;t offered directly. I%26#39;ve eg booked a double in Istambul several times and then call the hotel directly for a rollaway bed.

Hotel Blauer Bock has triples. It is five minutes from the Marienplatz, across from the restaurant hall of the Viktualienmarkt. Our double was approximately 110 Euros. The rooms are basic, with no TV, but the bathrooms were relatively large with full-size bath tubs. The location cannot be beat.

Thanks. I contacted the Bauer B. directly and got a positive response.

You might try Hotel Atlant on Sendlingerstrasse.
