Schonefeld to Potsdam

Hello!

can any Berlin experts advise on the best (i.e quickest and easiest) way to get from Schonfeld Airport to Potsdam?

Also, does anyone have any views on the Mercure Berlin Potsdam hotel - we%26#39;re considering staying here next May with a view to visiting Sansoucci plus other Potsdam sights - any suggestions gratefully received!

There is a direct local train from the airport station to Potsdam, but it%26#39;s not that frequent - hourly I think. Journey time about 50 mins.Alternatively take the airport express to Alexanderplatz and take a regional express (usually same platform) to Potsdam .Frequency for both journeys is half- hourly. Check times on www.bahn.de
