Best Car Rental Company to allow rentals to Prague

My girlfriend and I are planning to rent a car in Berlin and drive to Prague for a couple of days. Which car rental company allows rentals that go into Prague, Chezch Republic?? Is there a special license or insurance we need to go to Czech Republic?? Thanks

Why don%26#39;t you use the trains?

More relaxing.

There are some cheap offers: Europe Special Ticket for EUR 29,00

reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en…

The route is more scenic than if you use the motorways.

You have to buy a sticker to use the Czech autobahns.

And a car is really the last thing you will need in Prague.

autoeurope.com (a good and inexpensive wholesaler) allow their cars to be driven into the Czech Republic if you tell them.

If you find any car rental company at all that lets you take a car to Easter Europe, they will most probably charge you higher insurance fees. Would not recommending taking a car there. I agree with one of the previous comments saying that you will have a better time if you take the train.

I definitely recommend taking the train rather than renting a car. In addition to the reasons stated above, parking in Prague is very very difficult...almost non-existent...once you arrive at your hotel, I can almost guarantee you won%26#39;t use your car again until you check out. We took the train from Berlin to Prague and then used the Prague trams/metros, etc., to get around the city. They have an excellent transportation system and a car will just be an unnecessary expense. The train takes about 4 1/2 hours.
