I am curious about a comment someone made in a review about getting a good hotel rate from %26quot;german db train accomodation site%26quot; . What site is this ? And to do another thread to this did anyone use Panorama tours for any tours outside of Munich.

most of these tours you can do as well but cheaper on public transport. You are also more flexible this way.

A good deal is the Bavaria Ticket. A day ticket covering all local trains in Bavaria (+ Salzburg Hbf). Also nearly all other local public transport (buses and in the bigger cities also U-Bahn and trams). On weekdays however valid only past 9am.
