Can anyone tell me whether there is a bus that travels to Berlin from Frankfurt. . If not , is it possible to pick up a cheap last minute flight at the airport to Berlin and roughly how much I would have to pay?

No, there are no buses from berlin to Frankfurt. What for? A train is double as fast as a bus.
And no, there are no %26quot;cheap last minute flights%26quot;for inland destination. You can get there very cheaply if you book long in advance but never last minute.

Check if your airline takes part in this program (most major airlines do). Than you can buy from your airline or travel agent a Rail%26amp;Fly ticket.
A Rail%26amp;Fly ticket allows you to travel to any train station in Germany on the arrival day or the day after. And with Frankfurt to Berlin this will be a good deal.
There are direct trains from Frankfurt Airport to Berlin.

If booked in advance tickets can be pretty cheap. Even Lufthansa offers one way special fares starting from around 60,- EUR. Making a last minute deal is highly unlikely.
