I stayed recently at the Kempinski Bristol, supposedly a 5 star luxury hotel.
Big disappointment - it certainly doesn%26#39;t live up to the luxury description it gives itself. The main (but by no means the only) problem is the room sizes - very small indeed. The official classification requires, for example, the following:
* Single rooms 18 m2, double rooms 26 m2
* Personalized guest welcome with flowers and/or sweets in the room
* Second service in the evening
We saw no sign of the last two, and even according to their own website %26quot;our standard rooms are 21m²%26quot;. Ours seemed even smaller than that.
Luxury is maybe a matter of personal opinion, but room sizes are a question of fact. Is there perhaps a local expert who can suggest to me the best way of arranging for this hotel to be correctly categorised so that future %26#39;guests%26#39; are not misled please?
