Hotel Agon Olivaer

Hello,

Can anyone give me some information about the Hotel Agon Olivaer?

I%26#39;ve checked the web site but it seems too good to be true.

I would also appreciate any other hotel%26#39;s suggestion.

Many thanks

Hi,

I don%26#39;t know the Hotel but at least I can say that the location is ok... ;-)

Here you find some reviews:

I don%26#39;t know the hotel either but as solid8 already mentioned the area is perfectly o.k. It%26#39;s located in the western part of the city centre and the Zoo station is easily reached by bus or even foot and from there you get in a very short time to Mitte where the majority of sights are located.

Just around the corner of the hotel you%26#39;ll find a few nice bars, cafes and restaurants are just around the corner. Savignyplatz - which is a nice area with bars, restaurants and cafes - is also easily reached by foot.

It%26#39;s an ok hotel and an ok location.

The room I had was tiny, despite having clicked on a %26#39;double for single use%26#39; icon when I booked.

The rooms are along corridors, you need a key to the corridor and a key to your room; and the corridor has one of those push button light switches.

I remember the breakfast was good.

The rooms were extremely clean and well serviced. The staff at reception weren%26#39;t effusive but perfectly amiable.

There are some nice cafes nearby but it felt quite a hike to the nearest Ubahn, and although it%26#39;s only 200 metres of the K%26#39;damm, the K%26#39;damm is a b. long road! and nothing very exciting on it at the hotel end. Of course, the public transport is absolutely fantastic, you can get anywhere quickly and safely and cheaply - just don%26#39;t think you%26#39;ll be in the heart of things here.

Enjoy Berlin, though! Great city!

I can%26#39;t agree with Ailidh when it comes to being the next underground station quite a long way from the hotel. To the underground station Adenauerplatz you%26#39;ll walk about 5 min ... maybe 8 min. if you walk slowly.

|||

Thanks very much, you are really helpful.

Berlin looks like a very affordable city, even cheaper than Madrid (Spain).

I%26#39;m reading a lot of good reviews about the Hotel-Pension Bregenz, also closed to Ku%26#39;Damm. What about this one?

Many thanks againg.

It got pretty good reviews here on tripadvisor and the location is good. It%26#39;s around the corner of the Agon Olivaear and also in walking distance of the underground station Adenauerplatz.

U=bhf Adenauer platz is just round the corner. It%26#39;s a lovely area, nice bars and cafes without all the fuss you get in Oranienberger str, would rec. the area. Don%26#39;t know the hotel itself, but presume ok. I live in this Kiez, lots to do
