How do the beer tents work?

Is it first come first served?

Is it like a restaurant (you place your order they give you a bill?)

Do you pay for one beer at a time?

Do they have a bar where you place your order?

How do the beer tents work?

Come early and get in/ get a seat. Come late and most times the doors are already locked.

Is it first come first served?

You take a seat and the waitress takes your order. No seat, no beer.

Is it like a restaurant (you place your order they give you a bill?)

You pay immediately when they bring your order.

Do you pay for one beer at a time?

Yes. Unless you order two at a time. :-)

Do they have a bar where you place your order?

No.

No seat, no bier is a guidline, but not strictly enforced in all tents. You can easily get a bier in the Hofbrau zelt while standing. However, remember to tip the bier gals!
