Hi there,
I am in the midst of planning my trip for Oktoberfest 07. Just was wondering how the tents work- I know to get there early and if we have a group of 10 or more they take reservations. What I am wondering is-
Do you pay for each beer you order, or can one run a tab?
Is it cash only when paying, and if so is it Euro only?
Do you tip the waitress for each beer, or collectively when you leave?
Anyone with asnwers to these questions, thanks a bunch!

%26gt;Do you pay for each beer you order, or can one run a tab?
Usually you pay for each beer separately. There is too much comings and goings and not everybody is 100% honest.
%26gt;Is it cash only when paying
At least it was 2 years ago.
%26gt;, and if so is it Euro only?
Last time I looked Euro was the official currency in Germany. So, yes.
%26gt;Do you tip the waitress for each beer, or collectively when you leave?
For each beer - there will be many different waiters/waitresses, running around. They don%26#39;t get assigned tables like in a restaurant.

for a party of more than ten it is worth booking a table, you tip the waitress with each order and that should guarantee she will keep you well supllied pay cash in euros different tents suit different people depends what you are after as some can be very roudy depends what you are after

Pay as you go, and they take cash only. I would suggest tipping about 5 to 10% for the first two rounds, then you can go down a bit - once your waitress knows you, etc.
