Hotel near Gargantua in Frankfurt

We have an overnight in Frankfurt, and would very much like to eat at the Gargantua restaurant. Does anyone have a hotel recommendation that is close enough to walk to the restaurant AND close enough to walk to and from a U-Bahn station? Thanks for any help!

I should say that the Gargantua is at Liebigstrasse 47, near Gruneburgpark.

and give as destination %26quot;Liebigstrasse 47, Frankfurt%26quot;

Will list available hotels by distance from this address.

%26gt; and from a U-Bahn station?

Why not also a S-Bahn or tram station?

As this is in city centre you%26#39;re in walking distance of such a stop anyway. And public transport tickets do cover all types of local public transport.

abalada, thank you so much for the absolutely perfect answer.

I found out through hrs that there is a hotel right next door to the Gargantua, at Liebigstrasse 45. How convenient!

As for transport, U-Bahn, S-Bahn, or tram, doesn%26#39;t make any difference to me. I said U-Bahn because I thought that would be the easiest form of moving around a city I%26#39;d never been before.

From the map, it looks like I would take the S-Bahn in from the airport and change to the U6 at Hauptwache, getting off at the Westend U-bahn stop. Does that sound about right to you?

Westend is indeed the closest U-Bahn stop.

Closer are only bus stops.

Here a useful map
