Going to ISPO in Munich and in need of hotel advise

Will be attending ISPO (world Sporting goods trade show) in Munich from 3-7 feb but arriving on the 1st to take in some sights and sample the local cuisine! yummm...

I need advise on accomodation that%26#39;s close to the convention area (bus or short train ride is fine) but preferably within a mile.

What would you recommend? Don%26#39;t mind being in a busy part of town. A simple basic room with attached bathroom and 2 twin beds is fine. Nothing fancy but not too youth hostel like either.

We are both in our mid 30s so we are quite accustomed to the basic creature comforts of 30 somethings....(clean bed, bathroom, TV, clean sheets....) Beyond our backpacking days I guess.

Coming from San Franciso and the other one from Malaysia. So we will both be somewhat jet lag backwards or forwards somehow. A decent bed to crash on would be super!

That%26#39;s not realistic. Such places are booked up well in advance by the exhibitors and frequent visitors.

Hi Minimoe,

Munich is always very difficult with accomodation when there is a big trade fair or something like that.

Try B%26amp;B. Sometimes they are very nice and near the Trade fair centre.

Thanks for the detailed transportation maps and links. That really helps to get ones bearings during arrival.

Also the tip on the B to B. I managed to get a hotel room while searching through a travel site!
