My family and I will be staying in Munich on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. With Easter being a holiday and Easter Monday being a bank holiday (plus a day when most of the museums seem to be closed anyway), would it make better sense to plan a day trip to Nueschwanstein or elsewhere on one of those two days?
Thanks!

If the weather is nice, a visit to Nymphenburg Palace and Park would be a pleasant excursion. Tram # 17 runs from the platz in front of the Hauptbahnhof to the Schloß Nymphenburg stop and from there it is about a 8-10 minute walk. There is no cost to walk around the large park area.

On Sundays, admission to the Neue Pinakothek is only 1 €. pinakothek.de/neue-pinakothek/index_en.php…
