Hotel Eder???

Has anyone ever stayed at the Hotel Eder? If you had a choice between Eder and Hotel Uhland which would you choose? Uhland is more expensive but I was not sure if the area of town would be better?

if I was you, I´d choose Hotel Eder.

I haven´t stayed there, but it´s closer to the city and the shopping area on Kaufinger Straße. Also you have access to all underground lines on Hauptbahnhof.

No need to worry about the area, it´s normaly safe at night. There are a few (sorry, don´t know the right word) gambling halls/ arcades (?) and night clubs in the area but they are on Schillerstraße. Sometimes at night I also walk down Schillerstraße (you have to, to get from Deutsches Theater to Hauptbahnhof) and there was never any problem.
