Where to stay in Frankfurt

We are going in May to Frankfurt. Planning to rent a car. Where is a nice quiet section to stay , not to pricey.

Hi,

most of the cheaper hotels in Frankfurt are near the train station, essentially a red light district, but quite safe. Other than that, most hotels cater for trade fair/Business clients. A good idea might be the %26quot;Best Western Alexander am Zoo%26quot; Hotel or Maingau Hotel, which both are reasonably priced, still in the centre and relativelely quiet. If you have a car, maybe one of the many conference hotels outside the city will do, since they have quite good deals when there is no trade fair in town.
