B&B in north black forest

Hi and thanks a lot to abalada and marcopolko for your recommendations. I%26#39;m still planning our trip, so, there is one more question: may you recommend us some B%26amp;B accommodation in the area of Tuebingen ( some small, cozy town or farm house). Staying there I’ll be able to cover in a few days all the sights from Maulbronn in the North to Lichtenstein castle in the South.

Thank you in advance

I can%26#39;t really give you advice on where to stay. There%26#39;s a hotel just below the castle in Tuebingen in the old center of town that might be interesting but I can%26#39;t remember it%26#39;s name, but it should be on Burgsteige (street). Otherwise, I suggest visiting:

www.noerdlicher-schwarzwald.de (northern Black Forest)

www.schwaebischealb.de (Schwaebische Alb)

www.tourismus-bw.de (Baden-Wuerttemberg tourist office)

www.urlaub-bauernhof.de (farm vacations)

www.tuebingen.de (Tuebingen information)

Hermann Hesse%26#39;s town of Calw or Horb am Neckar are small and have tourist sight and might be pleasant places to stay.

From Tübingen, move west to enter the northern Black Forest; the towns of Horb and Altensteig aren%26#39;t too far from Tübingen and are smallish and old-world enough to meet your criteria. No specific recommendations but you can find accommodation info in German at www.horb.de or www.altensteig.de
