I am thinking of visiting Berlin in February and wonder if there are any recommendations for reasonably cheap hotels/pensions/BB%26#39;s?

Berlin is surprisingly cheap when compared with other European capital cities. The following are recommended booking agents for accommodation in Berlin:

Budget chains Ibis and Express by Holiday Inn both have hotels in Berlin; Ibis has eleven hotels in total in the German capital.

A personal tip from me would be the Hotel/Pension Seifert, a hotel in a typical Berlin house (not one of the many chain hotels). Stayed there in December, and found it to be of quite a good value. It is quite near Kurfürsten Damm, cost were 65€ per double room with breakfast buffet.

here is a very good adress in Berlin. The prices are incl. the best breakfast for a Hotel in this class.
